Alpaca Owners and Breeders Association (A.O.B.A)  Great site to find out more about alpacas - search to find farms in your area, online request form for printed information and "Farm and Ranch Guide", online subscription to "Alpacas Magazine", show, product, investment information, and more.

The Alpaca Registry (A.R.I)  Database housing the genealogy, blood typing, and ownership records of alpacas in North America.  Plus member services such as a search database for farms, ranches, services, and associations.

International Camelid Institute  Education and service facility for camelid owners, breeders, veterinarians and scientists, fiber and textile persons, and animal enthusiasts to advance the well being of camelids and the camelid industry.

International Alpaca Association  Private-sector association with nonprofit purposes.  The IAA brings together individual breeders involved in the production and commercialization of fiber from alpacas, llamas, and other South American camelidae and their hybrids.

Alpaca and Llama Show Association (A.L.S.A)  Information about upcoming alpaca and llama shows and events, show judging clinics, youth programs, and more.   ALSA's goal is to promote llamas and alpacas through enhancing the visibility and demonstrating the versatility of lamas at shows.

Alpaca Research Foundation  A non-profit corporation for charitable, educational, and scientific purposes.  The Mission of the Alpaca Research Foundation is to encourage and support scientific research which benefits the North American alpaca industry, primarily in the areas of alpaca health and husbandry, genetics, and fiber.

Cornell University Toxic Plant Site   Site containing a list of common names of plants and trees toxic or harmful to livestock.

Llama Resource A wealth of information on a vast range of topics related to llamas and other camelids.  Site includes articles, classifieds, farm and vet lists, chat room, supplies ... and more.

Llamapaedia  Written by veterinarians, Llamapedia it is intended to be an accurate source of information on husbandry, breeding, care and resources for further information.  Much information about these aspects of llama care is directly applicable to alpacas.

Alpaca Fiber Cooperative of North America  Wholesale and catalog shopping online for pure alpaca garments and yarn.  Also has members only sections.
